Cosmic Egg

The universe always has a way of opening us up to exactly what we need. This is a full trust I have now----one that doesn't descend down or pull me upwards as it has in the past, but rather completely surrounds. I didn't plan to paint a cosmic egg this morning, but as the art and energy of the rock naturally began to take over, this infinite birthplace emerged.

From this womb, all experience is a gift and a key, as ancient as cave-paintings and as powerful as space itself. I read my own sacred geometry the same way I reflect and move forward in the world----with absolute awe and beyond-this-lifetime sight for what matters.

Is sight the right word there, or perhaps I meaning understanding? Understanding for what matters. Feeling for what matters. Intuition, instinct, and passion for what matters. How incredible to sense, live, and breathe from all these perspectives of the human experience at once. How life-affirming to be fully-aligned with the genuine and healing, or as Mark Nepo says in his book, Seven Thousand Ways to Listen, to "[bring] our trust back to life."

Compassion floods for those who have lost trust as I remember the essence of the unaligned and deceiving world. What do we do when faced with something we know isn't right? What do we do when our souls bleed from the pain of it all? Prior to healing, everything was disharmony and broken trust: hurt people hurting people, deep-feelers numbing out and fading away. How could any of that have been considered home? How could any ounce of trust find ground or even sprout a root in a world so upside down in values that the pull to disappear felt most like home.

We couldn't before, but we can go deep like this now. We can talk about these scary kinds of things, because without deception and fear, and rich with the knowledge of healing, there is nothing to be afraid of. Nothing that cannot be faced, felt, and overcome. As the healing side of the world takes over, the deep-feelers are finally supported to stay clean and share their voices. Wasn't it about time the world flipped upside down? Wasn't it about time for real positive change? It took a lack of confidence to allow a repulsive world to be swallowed, but it is restored confidence that flourishes a world that nourishes and heals.

"We need to die in order to live." This is another quote from Mark Nepo's book, Seven Thousand Ways to Listen, drawing from the truths he discovered as he nearly died from cancer and then returned back to life. Something happens when you go this deep, when you cross the veil, spill your soul out into the entire ocean, or drop down (or perhaps up) so suddenly. Your soul changes. I know this from personal experience, several times. Each time, the cosmic womb space got stronger and more removed, as if to take everything away----my whole life, all the hurt, all the trauma, all the awful people and industries that perpetuated the pain----strip absolutely everything so that the only voice I truly felt, truly heard, and truly listened to was my own. Prior to this new incubation, I was always one to see through messed up and conditioned ways, but not one to say something or do anything about it.

In the cosmic rebirth, that all changed.

In the cosmic rebirth, the darkness changed too.

Inscribed across a sky of blue, all calligraphy is magic. The various swirls tell tales of my own life, as well as previous lifetimes of healing interrupted, healing yearned for, and healing nearly achieved. I believe in lifetimes within lifetimes, as well as souls similar to mine. The brushstrokes curl like waves, spirals, sea-creatures, and hooks, all flowing inward toward the creative center, the something more. Within my unconditionally self-loving seed-pod, I float in this nimbus cloud sky, reflecting, admiring, and cherishing the soul markings. They are reminders that my darkness, and the similar darkness of others, was never truly dark. The deep feeling moments and intense revelations of repulsion make up the hieroglyphic sky. It's how the atmosphere communicates what needs to change. It's how the tides keep the flow of what's healing and best for the world in motion.

The veil taught me this. It's an art-form to keep opening faith, allowing all experienced to be certain and unknown at the same time, but what I do know is that the best souls remain. In energy, in influence, in guidance, in song, and in book, they thrive on. We write our stories, tell our truths, make our art, and spread our magic. We heal and evolve on, forever at home as we rebirth and ground here, rebirth and ground here, rebirth and ground here.
